"3E-English-Entrepreneurship–Employability" Roundtable Discussion

The six tables developed by JA of Albania as part of the "3E - English- Entrepreneurship - Employability" project, which is being implemented with the support of the American Embassy in Tirana. The tables were held in the period April-June 2022 in partnership with the Universities "Fan S. Noli" Korçë, "Aleksandër Xhuvani" Elbasan, "Aleksandër Moisiu" Durrës, "Ismail Qemali" Vlorë and "Eqerem Çabej" Gjirokastër.

Various actors who have roles and responsibilities in the perspective of creating an enabling environment that promotes the employment of young people as a whole and students in particular became part of these tables, specifically the Career Departments at the respective Universities, university lecturers, representatives from the structures of the respective Municipalities, Labor Offices, as well as students who are part of Debate Clubs. At each of the tables, models of national and local practices were presented by experts in the field, while students and participants addressed the challenges they face to make national and local policies applicable to every student. The tables highlighted the need to redimension the role and commitment of Career Departments in Universities from the point of view of informing students about the spaces that actually exist to enable a quick integration in the labor market.

Shkodër Regional Fair The Company Program 2022

We are very happy to have successfully closed another Regional Fair of the Student Company program. After the visits to Gjirokastër and Korçë, we were welcomed in the best possible way this time in the beautiful city of Shkodra. About 97 students from high schools in the cities of: Tirana, Shkodër, Durrës, Koplik, Kukës, Peshkopi and Burrel were part of this special days where they showed their customers the products and services that their Student Companies have created throughout this year. Within the Student Company program in collaboration with AADF and the Municipality of Shkodra, Junior Achievement held the last Regional Fair for 2022, in Shkodër on May 27, 2022. This Fair enabled students to create a space where they managed to advertise/sell their products and present their business ideas to the community, businesses and local media. We thank the Municipality of Shkodër for their cooperation. available to our students the public space of the city. BY LEAP: Concrete support for youth NGOs

Within the project "Linking regional education, skills and potentials with regional youth employment practices" - BY LEAP, funded by the Civil Society and Media Program - 2019 of the European Union, five civil society organizations were supported by JA of Albania during the period October 2021-February 2022 to develop their Strategic Plans. 25 members of these organizations were included in a cycle of training to increase their capacities to draft the Strategic Plan and Strategy for Fund Raising, and were trained mentored for the finalization of this strategic document. The organizations "MEKZH Center", "YIE Center", "National Club of Parents with CSA", "JUS Center" and "Destiny" Center have already drawn up their Strategic and Fundraising Plans for period 2022-2025 and will continue to implement these plans.
