Leader for a Day Connects Nearly 100 Students With Real Workplaces

In April, the "Leader for a Day" initiative brought together almost 100 students and over 50 business partners across Albania, creating a powerful bridge between the classroom and the professional world. This hands-on experience gave young people direct access to workplaces and the leaders who run them, making real-world learning a reality for nearly an entire generation of students in a single day.

That same month, the activity itself immersed participants in authentic leadership environments, where they could observe, ask questions, and engage with professionals from a wide range of industries and sectors. Rather than reading about the workplace, students lived it, building the kind of confidence and curiosity that no textbook can teach.

Looking back, this initiative stands as a clear example of what experiential learning can achieve when schools and businesses come together with a shared purpose. For the students involved, it was more than a visit; it was a first step toward understanding who they want to become and what skills they will need to get there.
