Albanian Student Debaters at WSDA 2025 in Slovenia

Students from Konstandin Kristoforidhi School in Elbasan participated in the World Schools Debate Academy (WSDA) 2025, held from 28 June to 5 July in Kranjska Gora, Slovenia.

During the academy, they took part in debates on global issues, related to education, the environment, and international law. Alongside the debates, the program included lectures, electives, practice rounds, and cultural activities, offering a comprehensive learning experience

WSDA 2025 hosted young debaters from different countries, grouped according to their experience levels, from beginners to advanced participants. The week concluded with a final tournament, complemented by excursions, social activities, and a Country Exhibition where students presented elements of their culture.

At the same time, a dedicated track for teachers, coaches, and youth workers focused on integrating debate into classrooms, developing adjudication skills, and addressing contemporary themes such as media literacy, data literacy, and the role of AI in education

For our students, WSDA 2025 was an opportunity to practice debating skills, explore new perspectives, and connect with peers from the international debating community.
