In June, twelve universities from across Albania competed in Junior Achievement of Albania’s National University Debate Competition, part of the Debating Economics program.
Across 16 debates, students examined the motion:
“This House Believes that the biggest threat to cybersecurity is not technology, but human behavior.”
The grand final brought together the University of Vlora and The Young Economists team from Epoka University, with Epoka University claiming the championship title.

Junior Achievement of Albania extends its appreciation to all university debate clubs, judges, and coaches whose dedication made this high-level competition possible.
As part of their prize, the winning team will represent Albania at the IDEA Debate Exchange 2025 in Warsaw, Poland, from 18–23 August. This international event brings together university-level debate teams from around the world for workshops, expert lectures, cultural gatherings, and competitive debates, nurturing both skills and global connections.
