The pedestrian street of Shkodër came alive on April 17, 2025, as 240 students from 13 schools across Albania presented 48 student-led companies as part of the "Student Company" program implemented by Junior Achievement of Albania (JAA).
The Regional Festival of Student Companies is one of the flagship activities of the program. For the past 13 years, it has offered young people a unique opportunity to develop real-life skills for the labor market such as financial management, product creation, teamwork, decision-making, and leading a business.
Through this elective module, students embark on a true entrepreneurial journey, turning ideas into functional businesses and experiencing the challenges and responsibilities of building and running a company from scratch.
During the 2024–2025 school year, the program was implemented in 41 upper secondary schools, engaging over 1,900 students and supported by more than 50 dedicated teachers, all working toward shaping the next generation of Albanian entrepreneurs.
This event was made possible thanks to the strategic support of the Albanian-American Development Foundation (AADF), in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Sports, the Municipality of Shkodër, and the financial support of Tirana Bank. Junior Achievement of Albania remains committed to empowering youth through entrepreneurial education and preparing them for a more secure and successful future.
