IDEA Youth Forum 2026 – Albanian Students in Prague

Students from TES School represented Albania at the IDEA Youth Forum 2026, held from 6 to 13 July 2026 in Prague, Czech Republic.

The IDEA Youth Forum is one of the flagship events of the International Debate Education Association (IDEA) and is organized within the framework of the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange programme. The event brings together young people from different European countries to learn, collaborate, and discuss social and political topics through debate.

This year’s edition placed a particular focus on the active involvement of participants in the learning process. During the first days, young people took part in workshops proposed and delivered by the participants themselves, with support and guidance from IDEA. This approach allowed students to share their knowledge and experiences, work with peers from different countries, and take an active role in shaping the programme.

From 9 to 12 July, the programme focused on practical debate training, where participants worked on developing their argumentation, critical thinking, communication, and public speaking skills. Through group work and practical debates, young people had the opportunity to engage with different perspectives and further improve their skills in an international environment.

The Albanian delegation, composed of students from TES School, participated in the programme alongside other European delegations. In addition to developing their debate skills, participation in the Forum created opportunities for cultural exchange, peer learning, and building connections with young people from across Europe.

Participation in the IDEA Youth Forum 2026 provided the Albanian students with an international learning experience, helping them further develop their critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and ability to discuss and argue issues of social importance.
