Innovation Day at the Pyramid of Tirana

“Innovation Day at the Pyramid” is a series of educational and interactive activities implemented through learning visits at the Pyramid of Tirana during the period 9 October 2025 – 12 December 2025.

These activities were carried out within the framework of the project of the “Code Week” project, organized by the CodeWeek Regional Hub for Albania, Serbia, Montenegro and North Macedonia. This Regional Hub is managed by Junior Achievement of Albania.

During the activity period, 140 students from grades VI–IX from the schools “Ali Demi,” “Osman Myderizi,” “Avni Rustemi,” “Bashkim Fino,” “Lasgush Poradeci,” and “Pal Engjëlli” took part in this unique learning experience, which aimed to combine knowledge gained in schools with digital practices.
The activities were designed to spark young people’s interest in various technological fields, creativity, and digital learning through hands-on and interactive sessions.

Throughout these days, students experienced an educational journey in one of Tirana’s most innovative spaces. After an introductory presentation on the history and transformation of the Pyramid of Tirana, they engaged in practical challenges within the TUMO Tirana facilities, working in different disciplines such as coding, robotics, and creative technologies.

The students were assisted and mentored throughout the entire process by TUMO Albania trainers, who guided them step by step in developing ideas, solving problems, and collaborating in groups.
At the end of each activity, students shared experiences and reflections on their work, presenting their ideas and strengthening their communication and presentation skills.
