Junior Achievement of Albania concludes the VETpreneur project for vocational education

During the months of November–December 2025, Junior Achievement of Albania carried out a series of activities within the framework of the VETpreneur project – Vocational Education and Training Provision with Entrepreneurial Education Uptake in the Region, focusing on empowering vocational education and training (VET) teachers, sharing the project’s results, and reflecting on its two-year impact at national and regional level.

One of the central moments of this closing phase was the joint webinar for teachers and school directors, where two main components of the project were integrated: the integration of the European Entrepreneurship Competence Framework (EntreComp) and the presentation of the PBEL Platform (Project-Based Entrepreneurial Learning).

During the first part of the webinar, participants were introduced to the EntreComp approach as a practical framework for developing entrepreneurial competences in vocational education. Discussions focused on how competences such as creativity, taking initiative, collaboration, and learning from experience can be integrated into existing subjects through active and non-formal learning methods.

Next, the PBEL Platform, developed within the VETpreneur project, was presented as a digital tool that helps teachers and students work with scenarios based on real projects and practical challenges directly linked to EntreComp competences. The platform was presented as a bridge between theory and practice, providing teachers with clear instructional structures and giving students an active role in the learning process.

As part of the webinar, concrete experiences were also shared by teachers registered on the platform, who reflected on using PBEL in the school context, its value for student engagement, and its potential for sustainable integration into teaching.

The activities concluded with the online event for disseminating the results of the VETpreneur project, where a full overview of the work carried out over the two years of implementation was presented. During this event, participants reflected on the project’s journey, from the initial meeting in Belgrade, the development of the Toolkit for integrating EntreComp, the creation of the VALI-COMP competence recognition mechanism, the ToT (Training of Trainers) sessions, mentoring sessions, and international mobility programs in Serbia, Slovenia, and Cyprus.

The discussions highlighted the importance of regional cooperation and sharing good practices, as well as the role of VET teachers and institutions as key actors in building a sustainable entrepreneurial culture in vocational education.

These activities mark the official conclusion of the VETpreneur project, a regional initiative that has contributed to bringing vocational education closer to economic and social realities by placing entrepreneurship at the center of learning processes. Through innovative approaches, practical tools, and international cooperation, the project has built strong foundations for the continued integration of entrepreneurial competences into the VET system beyond its formal duration.
