Junior Achievement of Albania awarded Model Organisation 2025 by JA Europe

We are pleased to share with you the most important news of this year: Junior Achievement of Albania has been recognized as a “Model Organisation 2025” by JA Europe. This award honors the organizations with the highest impact in education, entrepreneurship, and youth empowerment across Europe.

Last week, the CEO of JA Albania, Blerina Guga, took part in the annual General Assembly of JA Europe in Brussels. In this event, the annual recognitions were presented for the organizations that achieve the highest standards of quality, performance, and impact across the entire JA network.

It is no coincidence that this recognition was given in Brussels, where, at the same time, the heart of European youth was also gathering. At the #PulseZ Youth Festival, over 120 young journalists, storytellers, and content creators shared ideas and stories that speak about their future: from work and entrepreneurship to the role of technology, mental health, and active participation in society. This award for JA Albania and this festival sends a common message: young people are today at the center of Europe – and we are there, side by side with them.

To be named a “Model Organisation” means to be recognized as one of the organisations that sets the standard for others in the way it develops educational activities, supports teachers and students, promotes innovation, and builds sustainable international partnerships.

This award is proof of:

  • our consistent work over the years,

  • the professionalism and dedication of our team,

  • our commitment to offering Albanian youth programs with European standards, from entrepreneurship and financial education to the jobs of the future and life skills.

A heartfelt thank you to the Albanian-American Development Foundation (AADF), our institutional partners, and all the teachers and students in our community who turn ideas into real impact every day; in the classroom, in the community, and in the labor market. This recognition belongs just as much to JA Albania as it does to every teacher, student, partner, and supporter who has stood by us and believed that young people in Albania deserve the same opportunities as their peers across Europe.
