📍 Tirana, May 29, 2025 – A day filled with emotions, inspiration, and visions for the future! Today, 80 students from 50 high schools across Albania became part of an experience many describe as the starting point of their professional journey: Leader for a Day 2025. They were welcomed by 42 top executives from leading businesses, institutions, and organizations in the country, spending a full working day by their side – a day that will leave a lasting mark on their development as the leaders of tomorrow.
This unique activity, organized by Junior Achievement of Albania, marks the culmination of a year-long engagement where more than 2,000 students followed the “Leaders for a Day” module in 50 upper secondary schools. Through this 36-hour program, young people learn how to build confidence, take on responsibility, work in teams, and develop skills that go far beyond textbooks – skills for life.
Today, the most dedicated among them had the opportunity to spend a full day in executive offices, attend important meetings, and observe real-time decision-making. They got a firsthand look at what it truly means to lead – not just a company, but a vision, a purpose, and impact.
Over the past 13 years, the “Leaders for a Day” program has influenced more than 20,000 students, with 580 of them selected to meet and shadow Albania’s most successful leaders. For some, it has opened doors to internships and long-term employment. For many others, it was the spark that ignited their desire to build something of their own.
