Financial Education in Focus During Global Money Week

As part of Global Money Week, Junior Achievement Albania organized a series of activities promoting financial education and experiential learning.

More than 500 ninth-grade students participated in the Online Personal Finance Quiz, testing their knowledge of money management and financial decision-making. In addition, around 50 students took part in Finance Camps held in Durrës and Vlorë, where they engaged in hands-on activities and challenges designed to strengthen their financial literacy and entrepreneurial skills.

During the same period, 20 upper secondary and vocational education and training (VET) teachers were trained and certified to deliver the Student Company program, expanding the implementation of experiential learning methodologies in classrooms.

Through these activities, Global Money Week contributed to strengthening young people's financial knowledge and entrepreneurial skills, while reinforcing Junior Achievement Albania's commitment to equipping students with the competencies they need for life and the future world of work.
