InnoVET 2.0: Advancing Vocational Education through Study Visits

Study Visit to Polis University – May 2025

At the end of May, Junior Achievement Albania organized a study visit to Polis University for 37 students and teachers from the VET Technical School in Korça and students from Sami Frashëri High School in Tirana

The visit focused on sharing innovative teaching methods, practical curricula, and work-based projects aligned with labor market needs. Participants had the opportunity to engage directly with one of Albania’s leading applied sciences institutions, gaining valuable insight into how practical learning can be better integrated into vocational education.

A highlight of the program was the Practical Activity in the laboratories and on the MOLA Structure, where students worked in groups on creative ideation and reflection exercises, facilitated by Dr. Nikolla Vesho, Fulvio Papadhopulli, Flogerta Krosi and Edi Duro.

The exchange also fostered stronger cooperation between education providers and employers, contributing to a modern VET system that equips young people with the skills demanded by today’s economy.
