During this year, the Finance  BootCamps, Innovation Days, and Career Days engaged around 300 primary and lower secondary school students (Grades K–9) across several cities in Albania.

Through these activities, students had the opportunity to develop practical knowledge and skills in financial literacy, entrepreneurship, innovation, and career planning. By participating in educational games, challenges, and hands-on exercises, they learned how to manage money, work effectively in teams, develop innovative ideas, and make informed decisions.

Throughout the year, Junior Achievement Albania continued to invest in teachers' professional development by training and certifying more than 400 teachers through programs designed to equip students with essential life and career skills.

Around 220 primary and secondary school teachers were trained to deliver the ‘’Personal Finances’’ module, while 190 preschool teachers were certified to implement ‘’Ourselves’ ’module. The training sessions were held in Durrës, Elbasan, Dibër, Gjirokastër, Pogradec, Berat, Shkodër, and Tirana, strengthening teachers' capacity to apply modern, experiential teaching methodologies in the classroom.

As part of Global Money Week, Junior Achievement Albania organized a series of activities promoting financial education and experiential learning.

More than 500 ninth-grade students participated in the Online Personal Finance Quiz, testing their knowledge of money management and financial decision-making. In addition, around 50 students took part in Finance Camps held in Durrës and Vlorë, where they engaged in hands-on activities and challenges designed to strengthen their financial literacy and entrepreneurial skills.

Thanks to this support, Junior Achievement programs have reached 100% penetration across the Albanian education system, from preschool to preuniversity, making Albania a unique case within the global Junior Achievement network. 

Speaking about the global perspective, Asheesh Advani noted that Junior Achievement Worldwide operates in more than 125 countries and has over a century of experience in preparing young people for entrepreneurship and job readiness. Notably, the organization has also been nominated four times for the Nobel Peace Prize, most recently in 2025, recognizing its global contribution to empowering youth through education and economic opportunity. 

“Albania stands out globally,” Advani emphasized, noting that it is the only country within the JA network that has achieved full penetration of entrepreneurship education in its targeted education system through social impact investment. 

He described the JA of Albania model as an example worth sharing internationally, explaining that leaders across the global network have been invited to learn from the experience and achievements of Junior Achievement Albania. Globally, Junior Achievement Worldwide aims to reach around 10% of the world’s youth population, impacting over 100 million young people through programs that promote entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and career readiness. 

“The world is changing rapidly, and people will likely have many different careers during their lifetime,” he noted. “What matters most is the confidence to move from ‘I can’t’ to ‘I can’—the belief that you can change, adapt, and succeed.” Advani emphasized that such confidence can be developed through experiential learning, innovation, and entrepreneurship education, which encourage young people to experiment, learn from failure, and build resilience. 

Through its growing ecosystem of programs and partnerships, Junior Achievement of Albania continues to play a leading role in equipping young people in Albania with the skills, confidence, and entrepreneurial mindset needed to succeed in the future economy.

From Design Thinking, Project and Budget Management to  Reporting and Communication, students developed concrete plans for their companies, analyzed the market, and set clear objectives for their business ideas; divided responsibilities, organized activities, and practiced collaboration while managing their student company and  presented their products and services by preparing pitches, first to their peers and later to mentors. 

Students’ Experience 

“I liked how we were able to turn our ideas into a concrete business plan. It was exciting to work as a team and achieve this result,” said one student after completing the training cycle. 

Next, students will compete in the Regional Student Company Festival in April 2026, followed by the National Festival. The winning company will have the opportunity to represent Albania at the European GEN-E Festival 2026, which this year will take place in Riga, Latvia, where they will present their ideas and companies to an international audience. 

Junior Achievement Albania continues to expand learning beyond the classroom by offering practical, engaging experiences that help young people develop essential life, career, and entrepreneurial skills.
